In an article from the International Business Times, AIC Founder and President Dr. Hooshang Amirahmadi is quoted on the subject of how sanctions relief will affect business opportunities in Iran. He says, “Americans are sanctioning themselves. This is a good start, but we must immediately improve with the broader relationship between the U.S. and Iran, otherwise it will impact this deal and perhaps create more problems.” He later adds that because Iran has made few investments in its infrastructure over the decades, there are significant investment opportunities in sectors such as agriculture, energy, and construction.
